BBC World Service launches investigation into the state of the world’s mental health

A major new six-part series, The Truth About Mental Health is one of the BBC World Service's biggest ever investigations. It begins on Friday 31 May.

The series looks at the radically different attitudes and definitions of mental wellbeing around the world. Presenter Claudia Hammond reports from India, Jordan, Norway, the USA, Kenya, Japan and the UK and explores innovative new treatments.
